As many of you know, we are very particular on brands we offer for sales and install here at Elite Vehicle Outfitters. We believe in the brands that we offer to our customers for a few reasons:
- We've been through multiple manufacturers for certain products, so we know what does and doesn't work.
- We believe in US based manufacturing. Although it's difficult for everything to be manufactured here, the core product you receive should be made here at home.
- We listen to our customers, and if they prefer a brand because of quality and product selection, we will bring on that line to better support them.
Recently we brought on Hi Viz Lighting, who operates FireTech and Whirl-E-Bird. They have been growing in the Fire Industry, and it's hard to find a firetruck without one of their Brow or Scene lights.
Recently Hi Viz has made the decision to bring their manufacturing process home to the US, and their foreign partners are playing hard ball, by withholding tooling and intellectual property that Hi Viz has spent years working on.
I'm asking you to take the time to read through their informational website, as well as send a letter to your local government officials. This is a very easy process, and it only takes a few minutes. This may help protect other manufacturers in the future from a similar issue.
