“Full House”

This may be the busiest schedule we have ever had this time of the year. Everyone thinks the season is coming to an end but that when a lot of the work starts.

If you need to find us we will be buried in this pile of work or else see yall at Dino’s Git Down in a few weeks and we will party like we always do!

“Taking Shape Tuesday”

More mock up completed with “Sweet Treat” our International FleetStar Duramax Build.

Every time we get a new piece to sit right I get more and more excited! The grille the bumper the overall stance and presence the truck has is so close to the dream.

The bed platform was delivered today and it is a rough canvas but just what we need to get the next phase of fitment and final mock up going.

“Friday Final”

It’s been a long week.

Effort, Consistency, Problem Solving, Creativity, and Passion all come together to make Progress.

“Thursday Thrash”

Today project “Sweet Treat” had a meeting between the chassis, cab, and engine plus the transmission all of which were never meant to be together 😂 Lucky for us we don’t care that things weren’t designed to go together we will get creative enough until things work the way we want them to.

The L5P Duramax and the 6 Speed allisontransmissions needed a little help from WCFab with some engine swap mounts that worked flawlessly and dropped the engine and transmission right into place.

Then we clearanced the floor and firewall around the engine and transmission before so we can develop our new cab mount locations and remount the good for final fitting around the custom wheels from Wheels A Million®

Still a ton of work to do but crossing this major milestone keeps the blood pumping and the momentum high!!

“Wednesday Rewind”

The Fleetstar Project hit one of those points where going backwards is the best course forwards. Now that the WCFab L5P conversion engine mounts had made it here, the frame has been prepped and modified, so we removed the tilt hood and lifted the cab to make dropping the engine and transmission assembly in much easier.

Tomorrow is a very big day where cab, powertrain, and chairs will all meet for the very first time!

“Monday Cover”

Our long awaited custom billet valve covers from Bad Oman Classics have landed stateside. These are everything I was hoping them to be and even more. These look and fit on the engine is killer especially for a 1st generation product fresh off the Haas Automation, Inc. 5 axis machine.

These will definitely help this build stand apart from the others…this isn’t just another engine dress up kit…these parts are meant to help express the soul of the build that no matter how old the truck get they deserve something special!
