We know we shouldn't be doing this until the transmission is done figuring itself out, but its really hard not doing it. Just a little one wont hurt anything.

10/01/2026

Got everything finished up and getting some heat in the transmission so we can relearn it with the scanner once its up to temp. But that doesn't mean we can't give it a little throttle to see what it sounds like.

09/25/2026

Tie rods and centerlink going in. Just a little more robust than the OEM ones. The centerlink itself probably weighs more than all the OEM parts we took off. Too bad nobody will ever be able to see any of this...

09/24/2026

Kryptonite pitman arm goin on. Center link and tie rods are next. Let's see if this gear box works after the way we got the old pitman arm off. According to everyone one on the internet we should just throw it in the trash now haha. Let's see!

09/23/2026

The plan was to take this off with it still in the truck. This pitman arm did not want to come off. Not even a little! Sometimes things don't go as planned.

09/22/2026

Kryptonite idler arm going in. Pitman arm, center link and tie rods still on the to-do list. Getting closer to having this truck done.

09/21/2026

Making room for the new Kryptonite front end kit. Out with the old idler arm to make room for the new.

09/19/2026

2019 Chevy L5P Duramax hoodstack. This thing is about to be rowdy AF on the streets.

09/18/2026

Stock L5P pedestal measurements vs. WCFab high flow pedestal.
Stock 52.01mm vs WCFab 56.43mm
Stock 45.46mm vs WCFab 49.03mm.
All approximate, just using a cheap digital caliper but still good data.

09/17/2026

Literally dropping the new WCFab high flow pedestal into place. Fits like a glove!
