🚗 A LITTLE WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE HISTORY! 🏁

Did you know the Woodward Dream Cruise started with something as simple as raising money for a soccer field in Ferndale?!

Back in August of 1995, Nelson House and a group of local volunteers wanted to bring back the nostalgia of the 50s and 60s when Woodward Avenue was filled with music, cruising and some of the coolest Motor City steel around.

They expected a relatively small turnout…and nearly 250,000 people showed up! 🤯

Fast forward to today and the Woodward Dream Cruise has grown into North Americas largest one day automotive event, bringing nearly a MILLION people and around 40,000 classic cars to Metro Detroit from all over the world. 🚘🔥

Pretty amazing that something that started as a local fundraiser turned into one of Michigans biggest traditions.

If youre out cruising today, remember youre not just looking at cool cars…youre taking part in a piece of Metro Detroit history! 🖤🏁
