Did hail just demolish your freshly tinted window? We have AMAZING news for you!

Most insurance policies will not only pay for replacement glass, but they will also pay for replacement film too!

Many vehicle owners don’t realize that window tint is often considered part of the damaged glass claim. That means if your window was tinted before the damage occurred, there’s a good chance your insurance company may cover having it reinstalled after the glass is replaced.

Every insurance company and policy is different, so be sure to check with your provider. If you’re filing a claim, save your tint receipt and let your adjuster know the vehicle had aftermarket window film installed.

PART 2! (See part one!)
Yesterday we showed the UV fading and sun damage that years of exposure can cause inside a commercial building. Here’s the finished project.

This Edward Jones office in Germantown Hills was dealing with a lot of heat and glare through the front windows, especially during the afternoon hours. They also wanted added privacy for meetings without making the building overly dark from the outside.

We installed a mix of Ceramic DR 35 and DR 25 depending on the area and the customer’s goals. The office window received DR 25 for increased daytime privacy, while the remaining windows kept a clean and professional appearance.

Ceramic DR is one of our favorite commercial films because it keeps a natural look while still performing extremely well:

Not many people are up for this challenge 😎.

This arch came in at 78” x 38” A big piece, wood framed, and about 8 feet up. No room for mistakes.

In the video I’m just working a section out, making sure everything lays clean and tight. That’s the part most people don’t see… but it’s what separates a solid job from one you’ll wince at every day.

These types of windows take patience. No rushing it. Wood frame is incredibly delicate and can easily trash the film.

And it’s not just about looks either. Tint helps cut heat, reduce glare, and protect your interior from UV damage.

This house got Ceramic DR 35% which blocks 99% of UV and 58% of heat!
