1994 Honda RVF400 "NC35"
The Best 400cc JDM of All?

Of all the high-performance motorcycles to come out of Japan, perhaps none can match the style, performance and riding experience of the RVF400 "NC35".

Released in 1994, the RVF400 was Honda's successor to the all-conquering VFR400. The RVF kept the VFR's V4 engine, gear-driven cams and single-sided swingarm, but added upside-down forks, improved carburetion and RC45 style bodywork with the unmistakeable "fox-eye" headlights.

The V4 engine produces a symphony inline fours simply cannot match, while the chassis and suspension made it one of the most balanced and best handling motorcycles ever produced. To this day, few bikes can match the RVF for sheer smiles per mile on the street.

Although never sold in America, these are now legal to import from overseas for US street use.

🔥 1993 Honda Africa Twin 750 "RD07" 🔥
The Adventure Bike that America Never Got

Long before adventure bikes became one of the biggest segments in the U.S., Honda was already building the Africa Twin for riders overseas. Despite becoming one of Honda's most respected dual sport motorcycles, the original XRV Africa Twin was never officially sold in the United States.

Inspired by Honda's success in the Paris-Dakar Rally, the Africa Twin combined long-distance comfort, real off-road capability and Honda reliability in a package designed to keep going long after the pavement ended.

Introduced in 1993, the third-generation RD07 model shown here featured a 742cc liquid-cooled 52° V-twin tuned for usable torque and durability rather than outright horsepower, along with long-travel suspension, substantial fuel capacity and plenty of ground clearance.

Compared with the earlier RD03 and RD04, the RD07 brought a redesigned chassis and bodywork along with numerous refinements, creating a slimmer, better-balanced and more developed Africa Twin while retaining the straightforward mechanical character that made the earlier bikes so appealing.

More than 30 years later, the RD07 has become one of the most sought-after classic Africa Twins, representing an era before adventure bikes became bigger, heavier and increasingly complicated.
