Race recap from this past weekend at Wi******er Speedway.
In practice we had a top 5 car and knew that wasn’t going to win the race. So we went to work and in qualifying we made a big change to free the car up and qualified 3rd.
Freed the car up so much we even got the Wi******er strip on the RR quarter panel lol. After qualitying the top 8 get to redraw for starting positions and I pulled the pole position for the 40 lap feature.
Had great battles for the lead and would settle in for 2nd place, right on the leader lap after lap waiting to make the move and waited to long and hit heavy lap traffic and force me to lift and lost time against the leader. After getting through lap traffic. I was able to run the leader back down but just simply ran out of laps to get the job done. Resulted in P2 finish, I really wanted this win and that r***e! But we should be even better next season! Had the greatest spotters spotting me yesterday my eyes in the sky my wife and my son! I’ll make another post where we finish the year with and plans for next season. Thanks everyone who has supported me this season and helped out!
