That’s a wrap on another Clatsop County Fair!

Every year, we’re proud to support the Clatsop County Fair & Expo, the incredible youth who make it special, and the community we’re lucky enough to call home.

One of our favorite traditions here at Lum’s is supporting our local 4-H and FFA members through the Clatsop County Junior Market Auction. These kids pour countless hours into raising their market animals, and their dedication deserves to be celebrated!

This year, Lum’s Auto Center purchased 6 pigs, 2 steers, 1 lamb, and 1 goat at the market auction. Last week, we brought it all together as the meat from our purchases was distributed among Team Lum’s, filling freezers and putting the hard work of these young exhibitors right onto our dinner tables.

And a special shoutout to Lyndel, one of our summer interns, who raised one of the steers that was purchased this year!

To every 4-H and FFA kid who showed an animal this year: we see the work you put in!

We’re busy making our way through the community with Operation: Fill the Staff Lounges, showing a little appreciation for the incredible staff getting ready for a brand-new school year.

Oh deer!🦌

Two little customers stopped by the lot today. We’re not sure if they were looking to purchase a new ride at Lum’s or head next door to Alexandroff Dental for a cleaning… but they were in and out so fast, we didn’t get a chance to ask!

Honestly, could’ve been the fastest test drive we’ve ever seen!

We were so happy to host such a special celebration for SMART Reading's 35th birthday at the dealership!📚

It was an honor to bring SMART volunteers together and celebrate the incredible work SMART does for local kids and literacy. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. Here’s to 35 years of helping kids discover the joy of reading!
