Through the Clatsop WORKS program, they aren't just stepping into a temporary summer role, they are stepping into an environment built for growth. Over the next 10 weeks, they will be diving into hands-on work designed to sharpens their technical skills, expand their mindsets, and build real-world confidence.

We kicked off the 2026 Clatsop WORKS Internship program with an Intern Orientation this morning welcoming a record-breaking 58 student interns!!

These talented students are beginning paid summer internships with local employers throughout Clatsop County, gaining valuable hands-on experience, building professional skills, and exploring career pathways right here in our community.

A huge thank you to our incredible employer partners for investing in the next generation of local talent. Your mentorship and commitment help students connect classroom learning to real-world opportunities while strengthening our local workforce.

Did some upgrades to the old 8.1 and finally got everything wrapped up.

Big thanks to Hank Slocum for the 8.8 top end kit and the 90mm throttle body.

Upgrades include:
• Raylar BP203 camshaft
• 1.8 ratio LS7 rockers
• 42 lb injectors
• 450 LPH fuel pump
• Stainless Works long tube headers
• MagnaFlow exhaust
• Volant cold air intake

Lifted the cab off to do the work, which made installing the headers and getting to everything a lot easier.

Had it dyno tuned at Wong’s Performance in Vancouver, Washington, and the difference is night and day. The truck was already tuned with a Raylar BP202 camshaft before, but with the BP203 and the rest of the upgrades it’s a completely different truck now. Put down 387 hp and 484 tq.

We spent this past weekend investing in what matters most our team and our customers.

Everyone on our crew attended the Automotive Training Expo (ATE) in Seattle, diving into hands-on training and expert-led classes focused on diagnostics, ADAS, transmissions, shop management, and overall business growth.

Continuing education is a big deal in this industry. Technology is always changing, and we’re committed to staying ahead so we can provide the best service possible for our community.
