Please Note: This entry level position requires 10 hour days, 5 days a week + Saturdays based on need. 5pm-3am shift. Willing to train, but the candidate will require a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.

Operates one or more of the following types of equipment:

- Saw Machine

- Broaching machines to broach internal or external cylindrical or flat surfaces of metal work pieces

- Milling Machines

- Tapping and Drilling Machines

- Assembly Machines

- Coining Machine

- Chamfer Machines

or similar type equipment, by performing the following duties:

Reads blueprint, job order or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Lifts work piece and positions and secures it in fixture.
Verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications.
Responsible for cleaning out machine at end of run.
Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.
Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine.
Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or work pieces.
Performs minor housekeeping operations near and around work area and machine.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visions, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Entry Level Maintenance - Day Shift

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am until 5:00pm, Saturdays 6:00am until 12:00pm (Standard 50+ hour work week)

Duties Include:
- Facility Maintenance
- Facility Cleaning & Daily Housekeeping
- Repairs and maintains physical structures of facility
- Assists in moving and installation of equipment
- Ensures cleanliness of inside and outside of facility

Requirements Include:
- Ability & desire to work overtime (standard work week of 50+ hours on average)
- Mechanically Inclined
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds consistently.
- Ability to consistently work 10 hour shifts, with 2 paid break periods.

Lays out machines, fits, and assembles parts to make and repair cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, or machinists’ hand tools by performing the following duties.

· Must own basic tooling for job function.

· Measures, marks, and scribes stock to lay out for machining.

· Operates mills, drill press, saws, lathe & grinder for material removal/sizing.

· Use of surface plate to inspect or fixture parts.

· Assembles parts into product and verifies dimensions and alignments.

· Tests assembled mechanism.

· Verifies compliance of personal & company tooling and equipment.

· Responsible for cleanliness of work environment.

Quality Inspector - Night Shift

This position is responsible for full inspection of machined parts; first piece inspection, in process inspection, and final inspection using standard inspection equipment, mics, bore gages, height gages, and CMM.

Full Time Position - Hourly

CENTERLESS GRINDER

- Sets up and operates one or more centerless grinding machines to grind external or internal cylindrical or tapered surfaces of metal workpieces to blueprint specifications.

- Follows tooling instructions and standard charts applying knowledge of grinding procedures.

- Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications: such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground, and tooling instructions; such as grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used.

2-5 years experience required

•Operating a Hydromat Rotary Transfer machine

•Monitoring cycle time to meet WSP standards

•Operating bench grinder and surface grinder to sharpen tools

•Maintaining cleanliness of equipment, work area, and gage stations

•Reading blue prints for product specifications

•Positioning and securing tools in tool holders per tooling layout

•Ensuring machine performs to quality control plan & quality check sheets

Qualifications

•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating machine instructions, and procedure manuals

•Ability to write routine correspondence

•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

•Ability to work with mathematical concepts to support the qualifications listed above
