Attention Riders!

We are recruiting for licensed riders to become motorcycle safety instructors at Balance Dynamics Motorcycle Training Center. We have been open since 2004 and the need for motorcycle rider training is greater than ever. Become a Motorcycle Safety Foundation certified RiderCoach and join a team of professionals who teach part-time and enjoy meeting people and sharing the joy of riding safely.

If you ride on a regular basis, have been licensed for over two years and have a genuine desire to help others learn to ride or ride better, contact us to find out about the RiderCoach certification training.

Are you interested? If the answer is “Yes”, then read on!

We’re planning an Instructor Preparatory Class to run Thurs–Sun, June 11-14 and Fri-Sun, June 19-21 at Balance Dynamics in Walton and we wanted to give you an opportunity to be involved. We hope to find individuals that would like to teach approximately 1 or 2 classes per month (from March to November) either on weekends or during the week. Besides the benefit of getting paid to teach the classes, your gear, equipment, and other stuff may be a tax-deductible expense. If you’re interested in becoming a RiderCoach but these dates don’t work for you, please still reply for future classes.

Requirements: Instructors shall have a high school diploma or its equivalent:
(a) The person shall be at least eighteen (18) years of age and hold a valid motorcycle driver's license or endorsement;
(b) The person shall have at least two (2) years of recent motorcycle riding experience; and
(c) The person's driver's license shall not have been suspended or revoked at any time during the preceding two (2) years or at any time within the preceding five (5) years for any alcohol or drug related offense.

We’ll make arrangements to meet so we can discuss the certification process. Please be advised that there are only a few slots available for this course so it’s imperative that you respond quickly if you want to be included.

Do you need a last minute Christmas gift for your current or future motorcyclist? You can purchase a gift certificate for a RiderCourse (BRC, BRC2 or ARC) at Balance Dynamics. Riders must be 16 years old to participate in the classes. You can purchase a gift certificate and pay for it online at anytime and get immediate confirmation. LAST CALL! LAST ADVANCED CLASSES FOR THE SEASON. We have a Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic scheduled Sunday, Aug 25, 1pm - 9pm, and the BRC2 scheduled Saturday, Aug 31, 2pm - 8pm. The BRC2 is a licensing classes and you can earn the States' Skill Test Waiver Cards. You must have a temporary permit and will ride your own motorcycle. If you need to get your full license by taking a one-day course, this is the last opportunity to do so for this season. You can register on the website: www.bdmtc.com/registration/

We have a MSF Advanced Rider Course scheduled for Sunday, July 28, from 2pm - 8pm. If you know of someone that needs their motorcycle endorsement, please let them know about this class. The student needs his/her temporary permit and will ride own motorcycle. We will work on the exercises and then the student can test at the end to earn the Completion Cards which waives the state's skill test for the full motorcycle endorsement on the license.

It's now official. In a new law enacted by the KY general assembly and signed by the governor, the Basic Rider Course (BRC) is now approved to replace all testing at the BMV to earn a full motorcycle license. Motorcyclists are no longer required to get a temporary permit and the waiting period is no longer required. So, take the BRC at Balance Dynamics and get your motorcycle endorsement. This is a big win for KY Motorcyclists.

Congratulations to 4 new RiderCoaches in Kentucky: Anthony, Aarin, Jillette and James! They braved the heat, rain, sun and clouds and worked very hard all week to accomplish this coveted goal. They completed their student teaching today at Balance Dynamics Motorcycle Training Center.
