Feeling extra blessed this Sunday after our country received some much needed rain!

We have an exciting week ahead as members of our team head to the Sunshine State to attend BRP Club 2027. We’re looking forward to learning, networking, and bringing back new ideas to better serve our customers and community.

Next up are Knowel and Dubs!

In the rabbit show, Knowel earned 1st place in his market class, 4th place in his breeding class, and was named Grand Champion Junior Showman. In the poultry show, he also brought home 1st place and 3rd place in his classes.

In the rabbit show, Dubs earned 2nd place in his market class and 1st place in his breeding class. In the poultry show, he received 2nd place and 4th place in market classes. Dubs was also named Reserve Champion Intermediate Showman.

Congratulations to both of these young exhibitors on their accomplishments!

Now that we have all survived Fair Week, we want to recognize some of our favorite kiddos and all of their hard work!

Oaklee had an outstanding first year showing goats. She placed first in her class and earned a spot in the Grand Drive. Oaklee also took home the title of Grand Champion Junior Showman.

We are incredibly proud of her dedication, hard work, and the time she invested in preparing for the fair. Congratulations, Oaklee, on an amazing first year! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the years ahead!

Special Hours for Baca County Fair & Rodeo Week:

•Friday, July 31st: We will close at 12:00 PM.

•Saturday, August 1st: We will be closed so our team can enjoy the Baca County Fair & Rodeo.

The Baca County Fair Board members are volunteers who give countless hours of their time away from their own families and jobs to make this week fun, memorable, and full of activities for all ages. Thank you for your hard work! We also want to recognize Baca County Extension Agent, Tiana, and Sarah for the time, guidance, and dedication invested in helping local youth develop outstanding projects.

Kids from across the county have worked hard on their projects that will be on display at the Minnick Building throughout the fair. Be sure to stop by and see their accomplishments. There will also be livestock shows throughout the week, showcasing the hard work and commitment of our county’s youth.

Join us in supporting our local 4-H and FFA members and celebrating the traditions that make our county such a special place. We’ve attached the fair schedule below and hope to see you at the Baca County Fair!
