7 years ago this past June was a day I won't forget and neither would a complete stranger. I was headed to Tri Cities and I had just entered the S curves, to my shock I seen a motorcycle crash happening in front of me. I jumped out of my truck and found the rider in the tall weeds, no heart beat and he wasn't breathing. I started CPR, tried breathing for him between compressions. His mouth was just a mess, dirt and gravel had to be cleaned out. What seemed like an eternity had only been 8-10 minutes, I was exhausted and was desperate for someone to help me. My arms and back were on fire, suddenly I hear a man yelling he's coming to take over. It turns out he was a doctor from Spokane, within a few minutes an aid car arrived. I remember picking up his upper lip and putting in a sandwich bag that had ice and passed it to the fire fighter, and then it was over. I never knew his name or if he lived, a full 2 years later Steve walks in with a cane into my shop smiling and I didn't recognize him haha. He walked in today, big smiles and hugs 7 years later we are not strangers.
