I can't honestly say it didn't work, but it doesn't work now! 😵‍💫 Body putty and fiber tape, and they even painted it.

The '25 Spring rush has begun!

Probably the most common issue we see in the older generation engines is years of fuel system neglect. Ethanol separation is typically at the top of the list. I posted a few pictures of whats known as "phase seperation", or "a bunch of ethanol crap!"🤣

Regardless ... use no ethanol gas whenever possible, and in the event you have no choice but to use an ethanol blend, run it out asap, and get 100% gas (if it's truly a thing anymore) in those carbs before letting it set any length of time.

We never blame a customer for attempting a repair, but sometimes it just works out to be less expensive to bring it to us first.. no shame in the game of trying! 🍻

Expensive mistake: If you choose to run a steel prop on smaller hp motors, know the risk to the internals when you hit something solid. Light damage to the SS prop on this one, yet bent the propshaft, snapped the driveshaft, and destroyed the gearcase internals.
