βπ 1. The Power Source (12V Battery)
Everything starts with the battery. It provides the heavy current needed to crank the engine. The positive terminal connects directly to the starter fuse, while the negative terminal connects to the engine block ground to complete the circuit.
βπ 2. The Ignition Switch & Starter Relay
When you turn the key, a small current is sent from the ignition switch to the Starter Relay (S Terminal). This acts as an electronic switch, activating the solenoid without overloading your dashboard controls.
ββοΈ 3. The Solenoid & Starter Motor
Once activated, the solenoid pushes the starter gear forward to engage with the engine's flywheel and simultaneously closes the high-current circuit (B+ Terminal) from the battery. This unleashes the full 12V power to spin the Starter Motor, crank the engine, and bring your vehicle to life!
