🚨 The Yamaha Service Manual Never Mentioned A Tube Of Glue… 🤦‍♂️⚓

Today’s problem child brought to you by a previous repair shop that apparently thought marine maintenance and arts & crafts were the same thing. 🎨⚓😂

What should have been a routine Yamaha water pump service quickly turned into a scavenger hunt when we discovered the maintenance cartridge insert had been glued in place instead of being installed according to the service manual.

The good news? We got everything apart, corrected the issue, and reinstalled the water pump the way Yamaha intended.

Until we pulled it apart and found the woodruff key completely seized and corroded into the shaft. 😳⚓
