For more than ten years, MileOne has proudly supported employees and their family members in reaching their educational goals through the NextMile Scholarship Program.🎓

Christa Dell is the daughter of Hall Ford Elizabeth City’s Parts Manager Mike Handley. Here’s Mike on the impact the NextMile Scholarship had on his family:

“My Daughter and I just wanted to give Hall/MileOne a big shout out for the MileOne scholarship program. My Daughter […] received and used the MileOne scholarship all 4 years while attending Elizabeth City State University earning her degree in Elementary Education. Thanks in large part to the scholarship, she has zero student debt. She is also starting her first teaching job [this year], teaching 1st grade.”

Peter has been an incredible asset to INFINITI of Creve Coeur since joining our team on Halloween in 2022. In just under four years, he has grown from a skilled mainline technician into our Shop Foreman, a testament to his unwavering work ethic, dedication, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Peter leads by example, showing up every day ready to give his best and pushing himself to reach the next level. His positive influence extends beyond the shop floor, making a significant impact on both our service technicians and service drive team. Through his leadership, collaboration, and willingness to support those around him, he has helped create a more efficient operation and an even better experience for both our guests and our team.

🌟 Our Chief Giving Officer, Amanda Kodeck, recently sat down with Baltimore Style to talk about MileOneCares, the philanthropic arm of MileOne Autogroup. With a focus on transportation access and safety, MileOneCares’ believes that “a company’s impact should be measured not only by what it sells but also by how it shows up for the communities around it.”

Meet Kaitlyn O’Connor, a current scholarship recipient studying psychology at the University of Delaware! Kaitlyn plans to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology and then become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She wants to focus on helping children and teens through mental health challenges, and hopes to one day open her own practice.

Aaron joined the Heritage Toyota Owings Mills team in 2016 as a Full-Time Technician and has been making an impact ever since. In 2017, he stepped into a Team Leader role, demonstrating both technical expertise and a commitment to helping others succeed.

As a fully certified Master Diagnostic Technician—the highest certification level Toyota offers—Aaron has established himself as a trusted resource within the shop. His dedication to continuous improvement extends beyond his own work, as he consistently supports and mentors fellow technicians, sharing his knowledge and experience to help elevate the entire team.

According to his manager, Aaron's commitment to making both himself and the shop better every day sets him apart. Whether assisting a teammate, solving a difficult diagnostic challenge, or leading by example, Aaron embodies what it means to be a true team player.
