Open Air Jeeps was created with a very simple goal - To help our fellow Jeep owners repair, modify, or restore their Jeep vehicles in an environment that they've come to expect:

As loyal long time Jeep owners, many of us share a common loyalty to the Jeep Brand, and a bond with fellow Jeepers that far surpasses any other vehicle on the road (or trail) today. Despite the common bond that Jeepers share, each Jeep is as individual and as personal as its owner. Whether you want a custom show Jeep or an original restoration; maybe you need to get your trail rig ready for the next ride, or your daily driver back on the road...if there's a Jeep involved, we're here to help. Open Air Jeeps recognizes that only a lack of experience or finances keeps most Jeep owners from maintaining and upgrading their Jeeps as they would like. We also know there are plenty of Jeep owners who would like to do their own work but available time and equipment access challenge that desire. Whatever your needs, as small as they may be, or as wild as you want to go - from changing a dash light to full OEM restoration, aftermarket performance modification to total resto-mod, let us know what you're thinking. Thought we'd share a special father/son project during the holiday season. We do a lot more work these days on the newer Jeeps, but we always try to keep a CJ resto going in the background. This one-owner 86 CJ7 Laredo made lots of memories for a Northern VA family, then one day it wouldn't start, and it sat for 15 years in the father's back yard (many of us can relate!) This past summer the son asked us to put it back together so he and his Pop could go drive it again. The body work and paint is almost done, the chassis is ready (see before and after.) We've added a few upgrades for another 40yrs of safe, fun adventures, but the Jeep retains all the classic CJ goodness and all the original memories! This is why we do what we do.... we're looking forward to returning it soon!
