The Mod Lites will be making their FIRST Macon Speedway appearance this Saturday, September 9. The division of cars run at a number of different tracks such as Southern Illinois Raceway, Doe Run, East Moline, Wayne County, Lincoln Park, Circle City, and Benton but will be making a rare Central Illinois appearance. The race is sponsored by Helton Custom Exhaust & Powder Coating in Virden, IL. JRS Concrete & Construction, Curry Inc, and TAS Trucking have also stepped up to add to the overall purse.
The event will pay 500-250-135-120-100-85-75-60-55-45-45-45-45-45-45-35 on back.
There will also be a $50 hard charger award to the driver who picks up the most positions from his starting spot.
