It's one of those days that doesn't always get the attention of some of the larger holidays, but it's still an important reminder of what that flag represents.

For many, it's a symbol of freedom.

For others, it's a reminder of loved ones who served.

And for countless military families, it's a symbol of sacrifice, commitment, and service to something bigger than themselves.

Today is a good day to pause and reflect on the freedoms we enjoy, the opportunities we have, and the men and women who have helped protect them throughout our nation's history.

Random thought for a Friday...

Do you have one thing around your house that you've been meaning to fix, organize, clean up, or finish for way longer than you'd like to admit?

Not days.

Every family seems to have a phrase that gets repeated over and over.

The kind of thing your parents or grandparents said so many times that you eventually caught yourself saying it too.
