MAJOR PURSE & PRIZE BOOST ANNOUNCED FOR RECYCLING 40 AT GRUNDY COUNTY SPEEDWAY

MORRIS, IL — The upcoming Olson’s Iron/Disposal Recycling 40, set for Saturday, September 19th at Grundy County Speedway, has received a major boost in payout and contingency prizes, making it one of the most anticipated events of the season for the Mid-Am Racing Series.

The feature event will now pay $2,000 to win and $210 to start, thanks in large part to CDE Collision Centers stepping up as a presenting sponsor. CDE Collision Centers is a family-owned and operated business with 16 locations across the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana whose team members are passionate racing fans.

In addition, Fast Time will now pay $350 from the Pat Finley Memorial Qualifying fund. Pat Finley's son, Ryan Finley was a Mid-Am racer for many years, and the family wanted to have something special for the years Pat was involved in racing. Additional money for 2nd through 5th in qualifying

Adding to the high stakes, co-presenting sponsor Cornwell Tools will be giving away $4,600 worth of tools to the top 10 finishers in the feature event, courtesy of Phil Speciale.

Lockport, IL — Richard’s Body Shop is proud to announce its partnership with the Mid-Am Racing Series as the official title sponsor of the "Richard’s 40" at the historic Wi******er Speedway on Sunday, September 6th.

Broadcast live on Racing America, this 40-lap feature event promises to be one of the most thrilling races on the 2025 Mid-Am schedule. Wi******er Speedway’s high banks set the stage for legendary battles, following up on last season's historic finish where Scotty Gardner Jr. edged out Kyle Brick by a razor-thin 0.016 seconds—the closest finish in Mid-Am Racing Series history.

To prepare for the high-speed action, teams will have the opportunity to fine-tune their setups during an open practice on Saturday, September 5th, ahead of Sunday's main event.
