YEEE HAAAAA! Look what we have here! I just finished on my part! Finalizing out a bunch of projects now and this is the latest! If you don't know what this is, you live under a rock! I had been doing alot of classic cars for my good friend Jeff Markham of Markham's Auto Sales and he had been telling me he always wanted to do a General Lee and asked if I would if he found a car. I said hell yeah! He found the car and the process began! We had it TOTALLY blasted inside and out! Jeff wanted the whole car to look like it was dipped in orange to prove it was better than the real deal! Pictures don't do this justice! He painted all the underneath and inside and I tackled the body and external paint. This thing has turned into a work of art! I was telling him it is going to be a shame that we ARE going to jump it when it is done! Being the good sport that he is, he said "okay, a little one"! I said " I know a guy that can fix it!" All kidding aside, this will be the one of the nicest General's ever done! Now we need a Daisy..... anyone? Will keep updated photo's as it gets close to being done! Man, I love my job!

Just finished this baby up and sent it out! 1964 Corvette that is a real fuelie and it has the original engine! We did the whole body and paint on this sweetheart. The pictures don't do it justice, this thing turned out absolutely gorgeous! Scott Chalk picked it up and it is heading back to his place in Maryland to finish it up and then taking it to be judged. Love the color, either known as silver blue or Marlin Blue with a white interior and also has a white convertible top. So pretty! Can't wait to see this thing completely done and will post pics when it is finished. Man, I love doing this stuff! I get to play with the coolest cars and get paid for it too! How can you beat it!😁

UPDATE: Better photo's! Thank you Scotty!

Okay, we have all heard the term "make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"? Well, here is the epitome of that! This 66 Chevelle was not a nice car, it did not have "good bones". It had none of that. Wound up cutting off and replacing the whole back half of the car. All that was remaining was a pair of frame rails, that were bent and I had to straighten them. Anyways, the only panels that we salvaged was the roof and doors. All the rest got replaced. Then of course the owner wanted it black! Didn't scare me though. So with a new, refurbished body, trim and brightwork, here it is. Really turned this baby around! It is on it's way now to have a new stroker engine put in to it and then to the upholstery shop for the interior. Then the owner will be tearing up the streets this summer. Saved another classic car!

Just finished this 1965 Plymouth Belvedere for another one of my Maryland buddy's Rob Boh. He has owned the car since 2000 and finally got it to me and we did our dance on it. Was a really good car. Did have to put a quarter panel from previous damage and had to do some minor rust repair but wasn't too bad. It did have it's fair share of war wounds but then again don't they all? Lol. Plans call to make it a Max Wedge clone with a 4 speed. I'm not a Mopar guy but this is a cool, nice car. The ball is in Rob's court now so get it on and get it done! It will be cool!

I have always said that I love doing these cars but the stories behind them is always interesting and cool. This one here is owned by the Columbia family from around here. It was the brother Tim's car that he had for a long time. Unfortunately he had passed away and brother Mike had wound up with the car. So him and other brother Tom had decided refurbish the car to keep the memory alive. It was originally blue with the blue interior and top. First they had a 400 engine and Turbo 400 trans built for it then when was installed along with all the other mechanicals taken care of by Randy Teed of Teed's Auto. Next was my turn. We had talked about obviously ironing the body out which involved changing quarter panels and straightened out a lot of war marks from previous incidents. They wanted to do something different so we pow wowed a bit and came up with the idea to make a Trans Am clone out of it. I think it was a great idea! You don't see many of them so that is neat! So here it is done with my end. Very cool looking car! Future plans include new bumpers, freshen up the interior and new top installed. I sure love bringing these things back to life and make dreams come true for families like this! Enjoy Columbia family, you have one badass looking car there!

Well I have been extremely busy with many different things but now I am full force back to work so I will start posting up cars I am knocking out again! This one is a 1974 Corvette 350 4 speed that the owner has had since the early 80's. As we all know life gets in the way so the car had sat a long time. In 2020 he had sent it out to have the body pulled off the frame and the chassis completely refurbished. Now he brought it to us to handle the body work and lay the hue on it. It was a very nice, straight car to begin with but it is a Corvette and did have some cracks and crappy paint on it so we took care of that, rubbed our funk on it and here it is all done! What a nice straight car this is! Another one hitting the roads again next season! I love getting these classics back out where they belong! Enjoy!

Well to sum up the Florida trip, it was awesome! Unfortunately Mother Nature ruined our plans for the Immokolee double header but we made the 4 hour trip up to Gainesville Raceway home of the Gatornationals. Mother Nature also didn't cooperate much again. After 10 hours and the track people working diligently all day, we finally got 1st round in at 7:00. Here I am at the starting line with my main man Russ White in the burnout box! Great friends, great memories! Won that round but then things got too late and a 4 hour drive back, we pulled the plug. One more off the bucket list though, raced at Gainesville and got a round win! Plus adding 3 more tracks that I have raced at! Gotta do this stuff while we can!

Well, did some work and changes on the Corvette this winter and needed a break from the world and Dave Monell has been begging me to bring one of my cars down to Florida to play so I did. Immokolee and Bradenton are an hour from him so I figured it was a no brainer. Lol. Friday night test and tune at Immokolee right off the trailer went [email protected]. Pretty happy. Breaking the clutch in so reset the clutch and went back out, let it go, left hard, 5.67@121 again but all over the track then had a hairy ride in shut down. Come to find out a control arm broke off the frame on the front end so that ended the night. Went back to Dave's house and he scored a welder and we got it fixed the next day. This video is from the first pass at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Man, what a track! Went 5.68@121 again in the high heat and humidity. Wound up going to the 3rd round when the gremlins raised their ugly head again and the car was flooding out. Something in the barrel valve messed up so I have a new one being shipped to Dave's house here tomorrow so we can fix it then back to Immokolee this weekend for a double header!

You've heard me say sometimes that I have the coolest job in the world. It gives me opportunities to work on serious machines like this baby here! This thing is the real deal! 1967 Corvette 427/435hp Tri-power 4speed. It has an L88 cam in it and just sounds wicked! So cool back in the day that these things rolled out of the factory set up like this. What a car! Perfect color Marina Blue with a blue interior (kind of partial to that because that is what my 67 Nova is). Had to do a bunch of paintwork to it to fix blemishes and cracks plus put the correct stinger back on the hood. They are going for a Bloomington Gold award with it so everything has to be perfect. I am so honored to be able to work on these badass cars! So love it!

Mike Kopansky of Vestal has owned this 65 Mustang Fastback since 1976 and was his high school car until 1979. Mike was not afraid to admit he was not easy on the ol' girl! Lol The car had sat until 1994 when he started working on it again but as most of us know, life gets in the way so the car sat again until now. Mike had just retired and decided it was time to get the car back out again. Brought it to me and I did my dance on it then sprayed the Night Mist Blue hue and clear on it and here it is finally. Mike did great on choosing the color, wheels and stripe combo. Very sharp! He is a busy boy now putting it all back together so it should be out by spring. Will post pictures of it when it is finished. Makes me happy to have another one resurrected and dream fulfilled! Man, I love this stuff!
