More testing.. so far 2 excellent overdrive transmissions, 1 standard transmission, (another standard transmission up next), and 2 motors tested on this test mule MGB GT before it gets a full restoration and Rover V8

First engine and standard 4 transmission both check out very good, replaced the rear wire harness and confirmed all electrics are working as they should.

1978 MGB Roadster, restored(extensive parts list, all new brakes, clutch hydraulics, aluminum radiator), converted to dual HS4 carbs, overdrive transmission, electronic ignition system(reliable), engine compartment detailed, convertible top like new, interior very clean, trunk lined with carpet, paint has a few minor flaws but overall show worthy and very shiny. New tires, runs great.

Spent a few days putting this engine/engine compartment back together just enough to test run this motor, was well worth the time/effort setting it all up, definitely a good motor.
