BCI Equipment Specialists is an automotive collision repair distributor out of Verona, PA founded in 1989. We provide the sale, service, and maintenance of the industry leading equipment we provide to our customers. From Paint booths, to welders, to frame racks, and much more – BCI is a leading distributor covering Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

About the role
BCI is seeking a highly motivated Service Technician who is coachable and willing to learn on the fly. The service department responds to service calls in the territory in relation to Welders and Spray Booths. This role reports directly to our service lead and office manager.

Responsibilities
• Respond to service calls within the assigned territory – PA, OH, WV
• Use a provided iPad to update travel time + job progress.
• Act as a liaison between our manufacturers and customers to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and service company vehicle – ensure correct tools are loaded to complete jobs.

Location & commitments
• Job Location – PA, OH, WV – Head office located at 113 Sandy Creek Rd, Verona, PA.
• This a permanent full-time position
• Mon-Thurs – 4-10 hours shifts – Fridays off!

Candidate requirements
• Ability to read a wiring schematic.
• Comfortable working with electricity
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues.
• Willingness to travel – this position requires extensive drive time.
• Able to work independently.

Spray Booth Install Technician

Job description
Responsibilities:

Duties: include but not limited to the following: operate a variety of handheld power and assembling paint spray booths,

Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous labor and lifting

This position regularly works on or around ladders, moving sheet metal panels/parts in and around paint spray booths.

Ensure proper safety procedures are followed

Maintain/organize a clean job site/vehicle: pick up tools, equipment and debris

Load and unload trucks, trailers, and haul material to job sites

Qualifications:

Ability to carry out instructions that are communicated orally, written or on drawings

Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift, air compressor, air tools, hammer, saw, drill and other power tools

Ability to read a tape measure

Ability to add and subtract in all units of standard US measures

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at least 100 feet

Ability to stand, walk and climb ladders throughout the day (not afraid of heights)

Able to work well under pressure, self-starter as well a team oriented

Dependability and punctuality are a must

Travel overnight stay may be required depending on the distance of the job location

Current valid driver’s license
