The #48 is loaded up and ready for Race 3 of the 2026 Wild Thing Karts season at Stafford Motor Speedway! 🔥💙

After a week in the garage making adjustments and chasing speed, Daltyn Rivers is ready to get back on track and continue building momentum in his Junior Outlaw kart.

🏁 WEEK 2 RACE RECAP 🏁

The heat was definitely coming in stronger compared to week 1! Last week we were bundled up in sweatshirts… this week we were sweating it out in the pits. ☀️🔥

Daltyn went out for first practice and immediately knew something just didn’t feel right with the kart. That meant missing second practice while Dad and Grandpa Joe went to work wrenching on it and trying to get things dialed back in. 🔧🏎️

Daltyn lined up 4th in his heat race and battled through all the changes made to the kart throughout the night. He held his own, fought through traffic and pressure, and maintained a solid 4th place finish without losing a spot in any of the battles along the way. 💪

That put him starting 11th in the feature. As the night went on and the track cooled down, the kart just wasn’t happy with the changing conditions. Daltyn battled through cautions, changing track grip, and even avoided some competitors who seemed to think taking rights was better than taking lefts 😅

Even with the challenges, he kept his nose clean, kept the kart in one piece, and brought home a 14th place finish.

Now it’s back to the garage to make some changes and keep improving. We are off next week for Memorial Day, but the #48 team will be back at Stafford on Monday, June 1st ready to get after it again! 👊🏁
