On todays episode of part stores misdiagnosis:

A Customer brought us this F-150 with a report they got from the parts store claiming the vehicle needed an injector replacement. Fortunately for them, they brought it to us before taking action. It would've been wasted time and money. All it needed was a simple tune up and now it's back on the road!

Shout out to ICT Billet LLC for making this swap as simple as can be! With their brackets it has allowed us to retain the original 97 ac compressor and power steering pump both in the factory locations from 97! Per the customers request we found a factory set of manifolds that will clear the obs frame to help keep costs down since this is just his daily! Also due to multiple companies we called about a plug and play harness being possible 1-4 months out we decided to put some of our aviation/avionics schooling to work and tackle the swap harness ourselves! In the first harness picture it is the stripped down 97 harness with the stuff needed to retain for a plug and play style set up and the second picture is all the 97 engine management plugs and wires not needed for the LS! Now we will be rewiring a drive by cable 5.3 harness to marry the 2 and get her going on down the road!

Just wanted to give everyone following the page a shout out since it’s been a while since our last post! We’ve been busy getting things rolling between both locations! We’re currently wrapping up the 5.3 swap in the ‘97 Chevy 1500, and starting to tear into a foxbody getting a complete makeover with a 347 stroker, full suspension and 5 lug conversion! As well as getting ready to pull a ls1 out of a 6 speed trans am to go back with a fully forged 5.7 to turn up the power on!
