Kirby Subaru Loves to Care!

Thank you, Kirby Subaru of Ventura! The CAREGIVERS team was out en force today to do volunteer interviews at our local Subaru of America, Inc. dealership. Park, sponsorships & events coordinator, and Ellee Berrington, volunteer engagement coordinator, on-boarded the Kirby Call Center staff who will be assisting with a very special research project, calling our Ventura County seniors for the University of Florida. Each participant will receive a nationally-recognized certification in mental health. We are delighted to work with Kirby Subaru to establish a template for rolling this project to volunteer caregiving organizations throughout the country. Look for updates as we introduce this project over the next two months! This program reduces su***de rates by 50 percent or more among isolated, homebound older adults.
