New 16 volt battery in the race car, fired up and tested as far as we're able to right now.

There were some very obstinate individuals a while back that were certain the car had a Honda k series in it. Hopefully this helps them out...

For the locals it'll be parked outside,weather permitting, the next few weeks while I work on other things, feel free to stop by and look it over.

Next steps are to get it all back together and repair some body parts.

Julie and Tom took home best of show at the watkins glen concours this past September 11th in little blue.

A 1956 almquist sabre. Powered by a very hopped up v8 60 and 5 speed combination.

They were able to make some laps around the old circuit and blow out some ear drums!

Im personally excited to see cars ive had such a heavy hand in building be shown, enjoyed and more importantly driven!

Here's to many more miles and shows!

She's naked now. Quick walk around.

Finished up shooting some video with Tom Kubiniec for the worldy August Peters and his forthcoming documentary of our speedweek antics.

You can see everything that makes it go. From the suspension to the Haltech engine managment and the fabulous intake manifold that made shawns job more linear.

The Turbosmart egate and ridiculous exhaust piping coupled with the charged air piping really packs into the engine bay.

Hard to imagine this thing going 190 mph. Absolutely crazy.

Wait till he pulls the parachute...

Every flag is a 1/4 mile

You can see it quit pulling half way through. Then tom adds all the boost and helped it along for that last little bit.

11.9 volts dont do it for those coils....

Now that everything is definitely back to normal and work has restarted, I thought some pictures and photos from the salt earlier this month would be appreciated.

First we have a screen capture a friend sent me from the scta live feed of our car and push truck lined up next to the JCB hydromax. It gives a great view of the scale of both cars. First how tiny our 86inch wheel base almquist is and second, how huge the twin digger motor powered JCB streamliner is. Possibly the smallest and largest cars of the meet.

Second in true British fashion. 50 people all running around doing something to the car after a twin parachute failure. Andy did a great job brining it to a stop from 360 mph without catching the brakes on fire and its a testimant to the quality of car to be able to accomplish that without catastrophic failure.

Third is our view from impound checking out the neighbors.

Fourth and fith is me convincing Andy to sign our fuel door. Stoked on that.

And last is warming up the car the following morning for a record return run.

Speedweek 2026 is officially in the books. We managed to bump our old record 3 times this week, from 141 to 154 to 168 and finished off at 173. Fastest timed pass was 189.

Now it's time to clean up and get east bound.

I would personally like to thank my wife for being so understanding and strong. My kids for being good for their mom.

My dad for helping right up to the day I left.

The whole crew for all the help, Charlie, Jon & son, August and Lucas.

The scta officials and volunteers for all the work.

Dave higgins for the brilliant cfd work. Cam walker for the hustle and super quick intake construction.

Carpenter racing for an amazing power unit.

Shawn Christensen for the serious effort getting it running and dyno time. Also making me move cars...

And finally tom for giving me the opportunity to go after something amazing.

We met a lot of fun people at a fun place.
