๐Ÿš— Crankโ€ฆ Crankโ€ฆ Crankโ€ฆ but NO START. What's going on? ๐Ÿค”

When this vehicle came in, the customer reported two symptoms: the engine would crank but wouldnโ€™t start, and the fuel gauge wasnโ€™t working.

During diagnosis, our technician found the connection between the two. The fuel tank had been damaged, causing the welds that secure the fuel pump assembly inside the tank to break. With the fuel pump assembly no longer properly supported, it affected both fuel delivery and the fuel level reading.

๐Ÿ”ง In this case, the damage meant the fuel tank needed to be replaced to properly correct the problem.

Itโ€™s a great reminder that symptoms that may seem unrelated can sometimes point back to the same failure. Thatโ€™s why proper diagnostics are so importantโ€”we want to understand why something failed before recommending the repair.
