This customer came in stating he wanted his excursion to have a little more pep and to be a little more fun to drive. We decided to do some 180/30 injectors, an S&B cold air intake and a hydra tuner with 6 custom tunes to wrap it all together.

This same customer was complaining of white smoke on start up. The o rings on the original injectors weren’t very happy. This customer is going to be stoked when this is all done!

Here at Cripe Motorsports we have started a personal project of our own. Between oil pan oil leaks, a misfire on a cylinder, and just the want for a little more power I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger.

Here you see an 02 Excursion 7.3 with all kinds of goodies on her. She is now going to have Forged Connecting rods, sealed power main and rod bearings, ARP rod bolts, RCD stage 1 cam with a welded cam gear, track tech main and head studs, Beehive valve springs, 3/8 Manton push rods, mahle gaskets, 238/100 fuel injectors, KC Turbos Gen 3 Stage 2 turbo, S&B intake, air dog 165 fuel pump, CNC 4 port fuel bowl delete, CSF intercooler, Mishimoto 4 row radiator, and to top it all off an A1 Transmission of Ga Inc Stage 3 transmission with a billet Goerend Transmission Inc. triple disk converter.

The goal you might ask? Something that is fun and useable on the street. Stay tuned for the first start up!
