We had this ’69 Camaro back in the shop this past week for some electrical work and a little fine-tuning!
A couple of summers ago, we completed the body restoration on this car. At the time, the owner planned to eventually do an LS swap paired with a Tremec 5-speed transmission. To help protect that fresh paint from potential scratches during the swap, we decided to finish the car in epoxy primer rather than applying the final paint. We laid down the primer and added the original-style RS stripes along the sides to give it that classic look. We also ceramic-coated the engine with CERAKOTE® to give it some extra protection and a clean finish.
After enjoying the car for a summer, the owner completed the LS swap and 5-speed conversion. He had also purchased a set of Dakota Digital gauges from us, so he brought the Camaro back in for gauge calibration and a few minor electrical repairs.
This Camaro has all the right components to make it a fun car to drive, including Vintage Air CVF Racing Modern DriveLine , and more!

This beautiful ’66 Fastback Mustang rolled into the shop last week for some paint touch-ups and sheet metal work to make room for wider tires! Or, as the Aussies call them, “fender guards.” 🇦🇺
We worked on the wheelhouse panels to create the clearance needed for those wider tires, getting the outer wheelhouse panels nice and flat. Up front, we gave the fenders the “Boss trim” treatment. Back in the day, Boss race cars running wider tires had their front fender inner lips trimmed for extra clearance, so we replicated that same detail.
We also installed a set of new March Performance billet hood hinges to add another nice touch.
And the paint match from Bob’s Paint Land was spectacular! We were able to get everything knocked out and back to the client in just a couple of weeks.
We love making these subtle modifications to classic muscle cars, giving them the clearance and performance they need while keeping that clean, stock appearance. Now this Mustang is ready to stuff some fat tires underneath!

Unfortunately, even our favorite hot rods and classics get a little dinged up from time to time. This C-10 took a little bump in the parking lot, so we’re giving the bedside some attention—matching the color and blending in the repair to get it looking right again.
While we love taking on full builds and restorations, sometimes it’s the smaller repairs that keep these cars and trucks looking their best.

Hows this-

Our ’65 Mustang project is now in the assembly stage, and this car has undergone some major transformations! We’ve replaced the quarters, doors, fenders, hood, and trunk lid, along with a complete floor pan, front aprons, trunk pan, and rear taillight panel. To say this car is like brand new is an understatement!
The engine is a brand-new crate engine built by &J Engines, featuring a small cam and headers beautifully Cerakoted by Custom Coating.
There isn’t a single part or panel on this car that hasn’t been restored or replaced, and the end result is nothing short of spectacular. As with all of our builds, it’s the details that make the difference, and this one is no exception.

We are putting the finishing touches on our 65 Pontiac Tempest. This car has had quite a bit of work done to it. It has a new engine rebuild from G&A Cylinder Head Inc., a Holley Sniper II EFI , a Holley Hyper Spark Distributor and a new one Wire alternator. We installed a new BeCool Radiator assembly along with a couple of electric fans to keep the temperature down in the engine. We then went through and upgraded the electrical along with weatherproof relay boxes and heavy duty, Ground and positive cables for the battery. We then added extra ground cables to the engine, battery, frame and body. We then installed some LED headlights that look like originals.
This car was previously worked on at another shop. Unfortunately the work that was done was not good. It had even gone as far as having the engine being “rebuilt” but in reality the engine had the valve covers removed and the entire engine was spray canned. That was the rebuild. When we fired it up, we knew immediately it had to come out and get rebuilt. Well those memories are long gone and now the owner can make some new ones. The car runs and drives like a new one. We are here for all of you mechanical and maintenance needs. What can we do for you?

We took this 78 Corvette in for some pretty important maintenance. It wouldn’t stop and we know stopping is never overrated. So in keeping with the factory spirit of the car and not wanting to do a huge brake swap, we installed a complete set of 4 piston factory calipers but then did a slotted and drilled rotor to give it a custom look. They turned out awesome and more importantly they stop on a dime. And as you can tell by the old brakes, those ones.…not so much. Our shop is completely set up with a full time technician to do maintenance or electrical on your classic car or Hot Rod. What can we maintain for you?

We had the opportunity to do a little work on this 48 drop top Ford. The paint was done but the front was a little plane. The client purchased the spear on the top of the hood and the front badge but could not find any shops to install them. Enter Burgess Autoworks. We were able to drill out the holes for mounting, add some epoxy and paint on the bare metal and get them installed. What can we install for you?

67 Camaro
Day 1 of our 67 Big Block Camaro. This Camaro started life as a drag racer. The interior has been stripped down to just the basics and a stereo system, but the years have not been nice to the factory wiring harnesses. So all of those are coming out along with the stock gauges. We are upgrading the complete electrical system with an American Autowire Hwy 15 kit since it’s a basic setup and a set of Dakota Digital gauges. We are upgrading to a 100 amp 1 wire alternator and squaring away his cooling system with much needed relay box and heavier gauge wire. We are keeping that old school “80’s Muscle Car” feel with the Centerline wheels but will be upgrading the brakes to a nice Wilwood set up in the spring.
