This stunning 1969 Chevy Camaro just left the shop with a massive drivability upgrade. We swapped out the old setup for a brand-new TREMEC TKX 5-speed transmission paired with a McLeod RST Twin Disc clutch.

Now, this beauty can handle all the horsepower it throws down while shifting smooth as butter on the highway. Best of both worlds! 💨

From flatbed to fire-breathing luxury. 🛠️👑

This rare beauty came into Garage Motorsports riding on a flatbed and running rough—a stunning 1961 Chrysler 300G. Driven by its legendary cross-ram intake and massive power, this classic luxury liner deserved to be back on the asphalt, not the back of a tow truck.

Our team dove under the hood and into the cabin to give it the ultimate mechanical and comfort restoration. Here is how we brought this 300G back to life:

~ The "Super Tune-Up": We deep-cleaned the distributor and ignition system, set the points, and put in fresh spark plugs. To ensure modern reliability while keeping that classic soul, we upgraded the system with a discrete Pertronix electronic ignition conversion.
~ Power Window Restoration: We brought smooth operation back to the cabin by adjusting the driver-side power window and installing a brand-new window regulator for the passenger rear window.
~ Weather Sealing: Corrected and properly installed the door seals to keep the cabin quiet, dry, and sealed from the elements.

Now, that big V8 starts right up on the first crank, idles smooth, and is ready to cruise the boulevard in style!

Classic muscle deserves top-tier care. 🛠️🐎

We recently had this absolute legend in the shop at Garage Motorsports—a stunning 1970 Ford Mustang powered by a Boss 302!

To get this iconic pony car driving as good as it looks, our team got right to work tightening up the handling, restoring stopping power, and dialing in the performance.
Here is a breakdown of what we took care of:

~ Suspension & Steering: Replaced the worn upper ball joints, outer tie rods, and idler arm to bring back that tight, responsive handling.
~ Stopping Power: Completely refreshed the rear brakes for reliable, safe stopping.
~ Performance: Performed a premium tune-up to keep that Boss 302 engine purring (and roaring) perfectly.
~ Shifter Adjustment: Fine-tuned the shifter linkage for crisp, clean gear changes.
Now, this beauty is back on the road, shifting smooth, and handling the corners like it’s 1970 all over again.

🛠️ This 1969 Jeepster came into Garage Motorsports with a long list of to-dos, and the crew has been checking them off one by one to get it running and road-ready!

Here is what we have knocked out so far:
~ Rebuilt the carburetor
~ Installed a Pertronix electronic ignition conversion
~ Installed a new fuel tank and pump
~ Installed complete front & rear brakes
~ Removed and replaced (R&R) and bled the master cylinder
~ Disassembled the front end
~ Installed a new steering gear box
~ Assembled the steering knuckles and front hubs

We love getting these classic rigs back where they belong—on the road. Stay tuned for more updates on this build!

John brought his 1961 Corvette into the shop with some frustrating clutch problems.

We went to work troubleshooting the hydraulic system and traced the issue down to a failing master cylinder. After installing a brand-new clutch master cylinder and bleeding the system, this classic C1 is shifting beautifully once again!

Diagnosing a shifting failure on a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. 🛠️

The vehicle arrived with a sticky shifter due to severe internal wear in the linkage and selector assembly. To address this, we executed a full bench rebuild of the mechanism.

Utilizing a premium Hurst Competition Plus Rebuilding Kit, we replaced all internal wear components, springs, and hardware. The assembly has been precisely re-aligned, restoring tight tolerances and smooth gear engagement. ⚙️💨

This ’61 Impala came in with some frustrating fuel delivery problems, we quickly diagnosed it and swapped out the old, worn-out unit for a brand-new fuel pump.
While we were under the hood, we completed a basic tune-up to make sure this iconic ride idles perfectly and is ready to hit the streets again.
