Back in 2010, I started Vancouver Auto Detailing with a dream, a work truck, and a passion for making vehicles look their absolute best. Sixteen years later, we’ve been blessed to serve thousands of loyal customers throughout Clark County - something I’ll never take for granted.
But today, this photo means a little something extra.

Over the years, in this one neighborhood alone, we somehow earned the trust of every single home on this block (roughly 10 homes). Now, I know that may not sound like a lot compared to the thousands of retention clients we’ve had over the years, but to me… it means everything.
Not because of the numbers - but because every one of those relationships was earned the old-fashioned way: word of mouth, trust, consistency, and genuinely good detailing work. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just showing up, working hard, and letting the results speak for themselves.

As a small business owner, there’s something incredibly humbling about knowing neighbors recommended us to neighbors, and eventually, an entire block trusted us with their vehicles.

To that neighborhood - thank you. Your trust, loyalty, and support over the years have meant more than you know. We appreciate every single one of you. 🙏🏾

We’d like to introduce you to Benji the Detailing Beaver!

Since starting this business 16 years ago, I’ve always had the itch to create an icon- something that truly represents VAD. Something we could throw on merch, turn into stickers, and hand out to the kiddos. Back then, hardly any businesses were using mascots in their branding, but lately it’s become more common… so I had to jump on board and bring the idea to life.

After weeks of sketching, experimenting with colors, and going back and forth on whether Benji should be happy and cute or aggressive and determined, our artist finally nailed it.

What you see in the photos is very close to the final version, with just a few minor tweaks left- but we couldn’t wait to introduce you to Benji.

For a little backstory: our family are big Oregon State fans (Go Beavs 🦫), beavers are brown- like me 🤷🏽‍♂️🤣- and I used to call my son “Beaver” when he was growing up because he reminded me of the main character from Leave It to Beaver. Funny enough, that same son is the one who came up with the name Benji.

It’s an honor when a true car enthusiast- someone who likely takes pride in maintaining their own ride- trusts us to handle the finer details most people overlook.
