‘Tis’ the season for crack repairs. Third long crack repair in two days. Customer had chip in black area at edge of windshield that grew to 8”.
We do cracks that run to edge of windshield and damage greater than dollar bill (6”). Many replacement shops will tell you these are reasons to replace. FALSE!!!

When you hear a rock hit your windshield, don’t forget to check the black area around the edge, underneath the wipers and behind rear view mirror. In this picture. A small chip turned into an 11 ½ crack. Fortunately we were able to perform an awesome repair and save the windshield. We do repairs many local and national glass shops say can’t be done. Drive safe.
