Up front, we built a cockpit cabinet overhead that gives you a great spot to stash curtains, jackets, or whatever else you want out of the way. Just below it, we integrated a curtain system so you can close off the cab for privacy in seconds. No more wrestling with the windshield cover and two side window covers every night.

Small details make a big difference on the road. The Isotherm drawer fridge pulls out so you can grab what you need from inside or straight from your outdoor kitchen setup. Right above it, the main control panel keeps you on top of charging, power usage, water tanks, and even pitch and roll when you’re leveling out at camp.

Every inch of this garage is taken advantage of. The passenger side holds a 30-gallon water tank, the water pump, and a hot and cold shower, with a little extra storage tucked in, and there’s still roughly 40 by 60 inches of open space left over. The driver’s side is the heart of the electrical system, with 7.8 kWh of usable power, an easy-to-use control panel, and serviceable breakers for everything that matters. Comfort and capability, without wasting space.

Our first Cloud Cap install is complete, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. When this customer asked for a pop-top, we dug into every option out there, and the Super Pacific Cloud Cap kept rising to the top. It’s built specifically for the Ford Transit, it’s made right here in the Pacific Northwest, and after touring their factory and seeing the canvas up close, the decision was easy. The tent fabric feels substantial, and the large zip-open vents bring in plenty of airflow and great views from up top. An integrated inflatable mattress keeps things comfortable, with a gear storage loft above. We added a Nomadic Supply Company® Arc Air+ fan overhead for extra ventilation and built-in evening lighting, and it can even pull cool air from the AC below up into the sleeping space.

One space, a few different jobs. The convertible dinette behind the front seats has a drop-down backrest that lays completely flat, so you can stretch out and lounge, then flip it back up when dinner’s ready. Tucked into that same front area is a full bathroom setup: a LAVEO Dry Flush toilet and a complete shower system, with a curtain that hangs from integrated hooks for privacy. Smart use of space like this is what makes a van feel so much bigger than it is.

Our latest custom build is rolling out on a 2026 Ford Transit AWD, finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic. We gave it a 2” lift with adjustable shocks, then set it on Method wheels wrapped in All-Terrains. It looks great, but more than that, it gives you real confidence on gravel, snow, and the long road out to that farther campsite. Along the passenger side we added a 10-foot awning, which really expands your living space once you’re set up. Pull out the chairs, cook dinner, and relax, protected from the sun or the rain.

Every light in this van runs off a digital switch panel — and yes, that includes a master switch that kills every single light at once. Heading out for a hike or taking the dogs for a walk and don’t want to wonder if you left something on? One switch, done. Beyond that, the back, driver’s side, passenger side, and galley lights all run independently, so you’re never lighting up the whole van just to grab something from one corner.

This Mercedes Sprinter build comes with a full galley cabinet — your cooking, dishwashing, and food prep station all in one. At the end of the counter, a bamboo flip-up table extends on Japanese hinges, giving you extra prep space or a spot to dry dishes. When you’re done, two latches lock it flush back into place. Smart use of every inch.

This van runs on our Timberline by Elwell Corp heat and hot water system, a hydronic setup we install in most of our builds. It taps into the vehicle’s own fuel tank, whether gas or diesel, pulling fuel through an external pump to heat glycol up to 180 degrees. That hot glycol circulates through the van, giving you reliable heat and unlimited hot water wherever you go.
