The 1971 Chevrolet El Camino combined the style of a classic muscle car with the utility of a pickup — creating one of the most recognizable vehicles of its era.

This dash was rebuilt from the inside out to restore its original structure, contours, and factory texture after decades of wear and aging. Through foam rebuilding, vacuum forming, and precision trimming, it was brought back to a clean, factory-correct appearance.

And while El Caminos remain popular among collectors, it’s not every day one of these dashes comes through the shop for restoration.

SoftCap installs over the existing dashboard and provides a cleaner, padded, OEM-inspired appearance. Unlike generic hard plastic dash caps, SoftCap uses padded vinyl with a vehicle-appropriate factory-style grain selected to match or closely resemble the original dash texture.
