George Green owner and founder of Green's Towing and Auto Repair had big visions. He started out as a 2 bay shop at the corner of HWY 2 and Route 30 which is now a bank. He sold truck caps, gas and did all types of auto repairs and towing. George had bought property an 1/8 mile North of the old 76 Station where he built a 4 bay repair facility and towing yard at 458 South Washington Street. With 3

full time ASE Certified mechanics and 3 tow truck drivers he established a well reputable repair shop, light & heavy duty towing operation. George passed away October 2006. Business continues and is still family owned by his 2 children, Erin and Jeff.
