Zippy Mart has toilet paper, paper towels and hand sanitizer. We got a great price on toilet paper but had to pay a premium price for hand sanitizer. So both are priced accordingly.

It breaks our hearts to learn that Lori (a local and regular customer) was rushed in for emergency surgery during this whole Covid Virus pandemic which already was having devastating effects on everyone including small business owners like Lori (owner/operator of Galories in San Andreas). It was necessary to remove a tumor, her appendix and part of her intestines. Seeing the incision made, gives one perspective on just how major this life saving event was. She is realistic about what is most important right now. She needs time to recover. She needs time for chemo and recovery from chemo.She knows she must keep a roof over her head and concentrate on recovery. She can not recover in the streets. Especially during this pandemic. She has no partner to love, care or provide for her during this time. That makes her challenges twice as hard. She realizes re-opening her restaurant is not a viable option. As her community we need to step up and HELP. We understand this is an awful time to be asking people to step up. Lori has her pride and intends to get a job asap but her challenges are overwhelming right now. Any of us caught in the same situation would feel overwhelmed or even defeated. We're not asking for miracles. Lori lives a modest life and together we really can help her. The goals are reasonable and very achievable. If a large amount seems too difficult, please consider a smaller amount and consider a repeating gift. If enough of us can give $10 a month for a few months this could take care of her rent and so much more.
