Position Title: Automotive Service Technician
Position description: All skill levels are welcome to apply. Maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring they run smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance. Penrod’s Automotive is willing to provide training to improve skills and broaden experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Conduct thorough vehicle evaluations to identify potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, etc.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift over 50lbs
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus.
