Tip for buying a car with your income tax return. Test drive it atleast 10 miles and make sure you get it up to highway speeds so you can tell if the transmissions slipping. Don't turn the vehicle off after your through with the test drive, let it run for atleast 30 minutes and check the temperature gauge to make sure it doesn't have a blown head gasket and overheating. Pop hood, look for leaking fluids and listen close for and knocking or tapping sounds. Keep the radio off during test drive and AC on max! People love to mess over people who don't know their stuff this time of the year. Most important part, DONT RUSH THE PURCHASE! I know that money's burning a hole in your pocket and your eager to get a new ride, but it ain't worth buying a lemon
