I recently replaced the tail housing on an Allison transmission in this customer’s Duramax. It’s pretty common to crack due to excessive vibration from bad ujoints in the driveshaft but these vibrations were from a big dent in the shaft. We got it replaced & back on the road.

Meet Project Rowdy Audi aka Raudi for short. & I have been wanting to do a new shop project for awhile & we’re finally getting started on this one. It’s a Audi A4 that we’re swapping a Chevy 5.3 LS motor, a 5sp AR5 transmission with a adapter, & converting it to rear wheel drive. It’s going to be a big project & I’ll work on it between customers so it’ll be a long term project. Stick around for the ride.
