This Kenworth was no crank call, most everything electrical was not working properly as well. Traced it back to a bad connection on positive side of starter due to half broken cable ends. Also found a loose ground connection at battery due to striped battery terminal. Once apart we found the positive cable had been rubbing on battery box awhile. All new battery cables,starter, batteries and battery connector wires. Starts right up now!

Broken bolts extracted and bracket reinstalled on site for this sidewalk paver today. Felt like summer has arrived!

This backhoe was a crank no start, after a few checks it was confirmed that the customer’s speculation of a failed injection pump was accurate. We pulled the pump off so customer could send it out for repair. Reinstalled injection pump and a new water pump (original pump with 8900 hours!!)since it had to be removed for this repair anyways. All back together and running!

Rotted out and leaking metal hydraulic tube that the customer elected to replace with a rubber hose. Tough area for metal lines as the dirt sits around them and rots them out. All ready to get back to work!

C12 in a mixer that had a skip, we were able to track it down to cylinder 2. The camshaft,followers and push tubes were closely inspected as these engines tend to have issues there, especially with high hours. All that checked out so it was determined the injector had failed, swapped out the injector and adjusted the valves. Runs like a top and ready for work!

Replaced this worn out engine harness on a cat 3406e. All tied up and secured to prevent future rubbing/issues.

Not what I was expecting when I got a call about some leaking cylinders on a forklift boom! This belongs to a local sports club that repurposed a forklift boom to lift their clay disc machine to any height. We pulled both leaking cylinders, had them resealed and then reinstalled. Quick fluid flush and new oil while we were at it and it’s ready to go leak free! Never know what you’ll work on!!
