I like old iron. This truck im building for the local driveline shop. 1942 Chevy military cab on a 1986 chevy suburban frame. Military trucks did not have factory looking beds only military. That bed is made from 1955 bedsides, reproduction tailgate and bulkhead and the fenders are steel semi truck ones that i shaped a little and bolted on. Cab is mounted and im going to move the motor back 3” and shorten the frame 7” to bring the bed closer to the cab.

Project Junk in da Trunk is all cleaned out and ready for the next owner to make it their own. Ive owned it for 22 years and it’s a great truck. Its next chapter is waiting to be written with a motor swap? Maybe a super duper coil over suspension? Some paint? How about a 4L80E transmission? Seems like all things I wanted to do at one time or another. I have a bunches of new parts for it that I meant to install like a fuel gauge sender. The ole girl has not had a working fuel gauge since I’ve owned it lol! Always fixing everyone else’s stuff. I get it posted onto marketplace soon enough.
