The Milwaukee Corvair Club

The Milwaukee Corvair Club is a local chapter of the Corvair Society of America (CORSA). Didn't know we existed, or how to reach us? Drop one of us a line!

Been looking all over Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois for others who enjoy Corvairs as much as you do? Maybe you need to get your Corvair fixed but need help from people who know Corvairs and can lend a hand? We'll contact you as soon as possible (we all have day jobs, you know...), and try to steer you in the right direction with good advice, parts leads, etc. We may not solve every problem, but we'll give it a try! You don't need to be a Corvair owner to join our club, just an interest in this unique American car of the 60's. Like to attend one of our meetings and meet some of our members? We meet on the last Sunday of every month (except December) at the Albanese Roadhouse at2301 W. Bluemound Rd.,Waukesha, WI 53186. See the map on Facebook Places. Meetings start at3:00 P.M.

Great time out today with the MCC, CCCC and CCE. Thank you to all that attended and brought amazing side dishes and desserts! Big thank you to Mel Francis and Craig for hosting. They have offered to host annually, and we are very much looking forward to next year!

MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU…

Thirteen years ago today, I drove the ‘64 “AirVair” to Chicago to be exhibited at The 2011 World of Wheels after winning the WLS “Coolest Classic Car” contest. Lots of pricey custom cars at the show, but only one Corvair and it got lots of attention. Got to hang out with DJ Dave Fogel as he broadcast from my Vair. I do recall having to drive around Chicago for an hour until my tank was under the quarter tank fuel requirement for entering the convention center.

Scam Alert! Hey MCC friends. Andy K alerted me that he received a scam e-mail from someone using my name (not from my e-mail address). I’m guessing they got our names from the MCC website. Not uncommon, I’ve received similar scam e-mails supposedly from the president of my new Delaware Corvair club, asking me to pick up some digital gift cards for the club.
I’m not sending any MCC members any e-mails, so if you receive one, just delete and certainly don’t click on any links. I’d be wary of any strange e-mails that say they’re coming from club members. I’m sure they’re using other club member’s names as well.
My best to all, Andy R.
