Aircooled character with some serious hardware underneath.
This 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo pairs the unmistakable wide-body 993 silhouette with a twin-turbo flat-six expanded to 3.8 liters, featuring Mahle pistons and cylinders, GT2 camshafts, Carrillo connecting rods, Protomotive software, and K24 turbochargers. A six-speed manual puts it all through Porsche’s all-wheel-drive system.
The chassis follows through with KW coilovers, upgraded sway bars, a RUF strut brace, and 18-inch BBS wheels. Inside, black leather and houndstooth seat inserts bring a distinctive finish to the hardback sport seats, complemented by a RUF steering wheel, shifter, and pedals. Porsche Classic infotainment adds a modern convenience to the analog surroundings.
Finished in black over black, this is a compelling take on the last aircooled 911 Turbo—thoughtfully modified, mechanically substantial, and full of personality.
