So I don’t see enough videos out there of restoring certain parts on S13’s and I ended up recording my restoration on the cylinder locks for my S 13 and I was gonna post it alongside with the process of putting back the car together, but I chose not to and decided to post it now with a part number that can help those out that want to get their cylinder locks replaced, and towards the end of the video. I didn’t go much into detail as to what I ended up doing towards the end, but I basically ended up sanding/wire brushing the cylinder lock housing’s from the S13 and also kept the hooks from the 13. I also sanded/wire brushed them and repainting them along with the housings to prevent rust and corrosion from getting to the new cylinder locks. Further mode, I went as far as to taking the ignition key to a locksmith along with the new cylinder locks so he could make them work with the original ignition Key. That way I don’t have to have 3 keys just to operate my S13 and now I only have one key and I know a lot of you have that issue out there, but I hope this helps. Julian hope this is helpful?
