Many parts on these cars are month and year stamped. The fuel sender, seat hinges, window scissor mechanism, hubcaps, rims, and gauges. These details are often overlooked and it helps when your cars retains the originals restored.

Crazy day, went knowing I might have the nicest 356 there to wining the best of marque award (best Porsche) at the show and I’m still in disbelief. Apparently the winners of the marque from bmw, Mercedes, and Porsche would then have an opportunity for best in show over all three. I didn’t know that and left before that award, whoops. My money would be on the gull wing that was there. Very nice venue at Silo Falls. The judges awarded for originality and not over restoring the car and keeping the patina on parts. Bringing it back from the dead over buying a 400k gt3rs. I really had no idea because there were so many nice cars there today, I’m still in disbelief. It’s such a simple unassuming little car until you look at all the car condition, original details and documentation really make it stand out.
