For those of you who have missed hearing my voice. Almost a full hour of me blathering about my 25 years as a BMW bike tech.

In Episode 170 of Chasing the Horizon, I chat with George Mangicaro about taking care of vintage, restored and even regular motorcycles. It's part four of the Restoration Series, and it's a doozy.

See ... George closed his motorcycle repair business a few months before our conversation, so he got to say the quiet parts out loud at long last. It's enlightening to say the least! By the way, the bike in the photo started as a pile of parts on the shop floor and he actually rides it. At this point, it might actually be his only functional motorcycle!

If anyone reading this is a metal artist (or knows one) let me know. I have lots of springs, stainless steel exhaust systems (curved tubes) and other metal bits that will be going to the scrap yard in the next few weeks. Also it looks like I can not find a buyer for my Goggomobil (other than the glass and rims) so that is up for grabs too.
