This whole rebuild started with something as simple as a serpentine belt failure. It got into the timing system, the engine came apart, and suddenly I was rebuilding the short block in my own race car.
Short-block assembly isn’t something we normally offer customers at Six Star… but this was my engine, and it needed to be done. Failures happen, whether you race cars or just drive them every day.
I think what matters more is how you respond to them. You can let a failure stop you… or you can figure out what happened, learn from it, and start putting everything back together.
One measurement, one bearing, one piston at a time. We’re getting this thing back on track.
