With 123k on the odometer a returning client brought in his second Prius after his first one was totaled in a 5mph hit. The client does a lot of home health visits with this car and the Tier 2 coating package was the perfect fit as the client wasn’t chasing perfection but rather an enhancement of the paint’s finish. The car arrived with tons holograms, swirls, scratches and white paint overspray on the paint, trim and glass. After the minor correction was done, the tier 2 coating was applied which really helps add shine and pop to the flake in the paint.

Returning clients brought in their newly purchased 2026 Lexus TX550H+ for the concourse package. Recently left the Audi/VW group and picked up this Lexus due to a growing family. The car itself was in decent shape but did have waterspots in the paint finish. The car supposedly had Permaplate installed but after a full decon, only sections of the vehicle were coated. Minor correction was done to a few sections of the vehicle. Once that was done, the car’s paint, windows, door jams, wheels and trim were coated. The owner also had all the chrome bits wrapped gloss black which were coated as well. Tasteful move imo. The interior also received UV protection as well. Wish the GX was available with the Java interior and Alcantara bits it.

With 13k on the clock a returning client brought in his 2024 GR Corolla for the Tier 1.2 coating. This client has had his previous cars coated by me but unfortunately when he purchased this car, I was unable to coat it as I was on paternity leave. He had the front of the car PPF’d and coated by a shop in the South Bay but after 2 years he was not happy with the coating. Even with this car being daily driven and parked outside in the elements the coating should have lasted a minimum 3 years as that shop advertised. A few maintenance washes were done by us to see if the coating really failed on the paint and PPF, which it did. So a correction was done to the PPF to add some clarity back and paint to remove water spots and contaminates. Once that was all addressed the car was fully coated.

A 1969 Datsun 2000 roadster was brought in from San Francisco for the Tier 1.2 coating. The car itself has been going through a refresh so it was fitting to get the paint looking good as well. The owner would previously get the car waxed but it never received a paint correction or coating before. The A multi stage correction was done to the paint as it had swirls and heavy orange peel in the rear from a respray. Our 1.2 coating was then applied which gave this orange paint that extra gloss and depth. With being a daily driver for this client the ease of cleaning and drying will be welcomed. This SR motor swapped Datsun was definitely a treat to work on.

With 400 miles on the odometer, a fellow cyclist brought in his brand new 2026 Subaru forester in for the new car prep package. The vehicle arrived with some slight discoloration on the plastic trim after the dealership installed a rear tow hitch. The car was also covered in contaminants which seem to look like industrial fall out from where the dealership was storing it and not the usual stuff from transport from the factory. The car received a heavy chemical decontamination, refined polish and re-dye of the trim. The car’s trim, paint, glass, and wheels all received coating treatment.

YCD’s Honda s2000 in its 4th iteration was brought in for prep to attend San Jose Wekfest USA. A freshly painted VOLTEX front bumper, Seibon Carbon hood and repaired rear quarter had orange peel and haze that needed to be addressed. I didn’t go too crazy with the removal and blending of the orange peel to the existing panels as the paint was a little thin for my liking to chase every little defect. The main goal was to add clarity and coating for this track build.

New Car 1.2 package for a 2 week old 2026 Mazda CX-50 hybrid in Soul Red. Client wasn’t happy with the state of the car at purchase as it was presented with swirls and haze on the dealer lot. Pretty high probability the car was washed periodically by contracted mobile wash company while on the lot or was sent through mechanical wash and dried in the sun. After removing the swirls & haze, the 1.2 coating was applied which brought some insane depth and slickness to this paint. The plastic trim, windows and wheels also received a coating as well.

Returning client brought in his new daily that is replacing his e90 M3. A BAR’d 1993 r33 Nissan Skyline GTR in this rare blue paint. The car was purchased from and driven back up to the Bay Area. It arrived to us with heavy swirls, scratches and tons of contaminates which were probably from storage and transport from Japan. The multistage correction wasn’t straight forward as even with the heavy decontamination, the pads were still getting clogged with grime being pulled off the paint. The 1.2 coating was then laid on the paint which gave it an insane shine and slickness. Personally out of all the GTr chassis’s, this may be my favorite based on proportions. Definitely turned heads during the drive to the photoshoot and will be a sick daily driver.

Returning client brought in his new daily, which replaced the 2500 diesel ram we coated a while back.
A Kia EV6 GT AWD in runway red. The vehicle unfortunately has been washed a few times by the dealership prior to purchase which caused a ton of swirls and marring in the paint. Gave the car a hazy look and discolor. The car received the 1.2 coating which is perfect for a daily driver like this.
